It's time to mulch your garden beds if you haven't already. The ideal depth is 2- 4 inches. . This will save you lots of weeding later and help retain moisture in your gardens during the hot summer months. Taper mulch out in order not to pile at the base of plants and tree trunks.
For you vegetables gardens, we recommend straw mulch. We prefer straw over weed block fabric.
