Week of January 26th

It's a great time of year to brighten your home with cut flowers.  Cut stems on a slant under warm running water. Make sure to have warm water in your vase and change the water every other day.

Now that your Amaryllis is blooming, make sure it is in part sun, in moderately moist soil. Water when soil is dry to the touch, but do not allow plant to sit in water. Each bloom will last about 1 week.
