Move your houseplants back inside as the temperature reaches 50 degrees in the evening.

Seed your lawn! September is a great time to seed new lawn areas and patch areas damaged during the season by insects, drought, or disease. Choose a blended seed that is disease resistant, and drought or shade tolerant depending on your area. A good blend of turf grasses will stand up better to poor growing conditions and nature's threats.

Mums will last longer when planted in the garden. Be sure to water the base of the plant and do not spray the foliage.
